GleeMeet Zero Tolerance Policy

Purpose of the Policy

This Zero Tolerance Policy sets forth the behaviours Gleemeet will not tolerate and establishes the consequences of violating these standards.

Gleemeet is committed to maintaining a space where users feel safe, respected, and free from harassment, discrimination, and any form of exploitation.

Prohibited Behaviours

Below are the specific behaviours prohibited on Gleemeet. Violating any of these guidelines may lead to an immediate and irrevocable ban from the platform.

Harassment and Abuse

Users may not engage in any form of harassment, including repeated, unwelcome communication, threats, bullying, or intimidation of other users.
Stalking, invasive monitoring, and any actions that interfere with another user’s comfort and safety are strictly prohibited.
Users who attempt to repeatedly contact others after a rejection or an indication of disinterest will be penalized.

Discrimination and Hate Speech

Hate speech, whether in text, images, or any other form, is strictly prohibited.
Discriminatory remarks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability will not be tolerated.
Users who express, promote, or endorse discrimination, hatred, or violence will face permanent removal from Gleemeet.

Sexual Harassment and Exploitation

Gleemeet prohibits any form of unwanted sexual advances, including unsolicited explicit messages, requests for sexual favours, or explicit content.
Users may not use Gleemeet to distribute or request sexually explicit images, videos, or other forms of adult content.
Any behaviour that promotes or encourages exploitation, such as coercive sexual advances or sharing content without the explicit consent of all parties involved, is strictly forbidden.

Impersonation and Deceptive Practices

Users must provide accurate information and are prohibited from impersonating others, creating fake profiles, or engaging in deceptive behaviour.
Catfishing, fraud, and any attempts to deceive other users by using false identities or misleading information will result in immediate action.

Fraud and Scams

Users are not permitted to use Gleemeet for fraudulent activities, including attempts to solicit money or personal information under false pretences.
Scams, extortion attempts, and any tactics aimed at deceiving users for financial gain or exploitation are strictly forbidden.

Reporting Mechanism

Gleemeet encourages users to report any misconduct or behaviours that may violate this policy. We provide the following channels for reporting:

In-App Reporting Tool: Users may report inappropriate behaviour directly from a profile or chat using the reporting tool.

Possible Actions

Temporary Suspension: Minor violations may result in a temporary suspension, with the user receiving a warning and being required to review the policy.
Permanent Ban: Severe violations, including those involving harassment, hate speech, or fraud, will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
Other Actions: Depending on the nature of the violation, Gleemeet may implement additional restrictions or measures to protect the community.

Consequences of Violation

Violating the Zero Tolerance Policy may result in:

Immediate Account Suspension: Accounts involved in prohibited behaviour may be immediately suspended to protect the safety and integrity of our community.

Permanent Removal from Gleemeet: Accounts involved in severe or repeated violations will be permanently removed from Gleemeet without the possibility of reinstatement.

Further Legal Action: In extreme cases, such as fraudulent activities or threats of violence, Gleemeet reserves the right to pursue legal action against violators.

Appeals Process

Misuse of Gleemeet Features

Spamming or Inappropriate Content: Users may not use messaging or profile features to spam others or send unsolicited promotional content, links, or media that are irrelevant to the platform’s purpose.

Automated and Bot Accounts: Creating or using automated or bot accounts to interact on Gleemeet is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.

Exploiting Platform Vulnerabilities: Attempting to access or exploit any technical vulnerabilities in Gleemeet’s software or infrastructure will lead to immediate removal and potential legal action.

Violent or Threatening Behaviour

Physical Threats and Violence: Any language, content, or imagery that promotes, threatens, or incites violence or physical harm is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate banning.

Encouragement of Self-Harm: Users may not encourage or promote self-harm, suicide, or other forms of self-injurious behaviour. Content promoting such actions will be immediately removed, and involved users will face suspension.

Inappropriate Content and Explicit Media Sharing

Unwanted Explicit Content: Sending sexually explicit images or media without mutual consent is prohibited. Users may only exchange such content with express, mutual agreement and respect for boundaries.

Prohibited Content: Content that is graphic, violent, or illegal (e.g., drugs, weapons) is not permitted. Sharing such content will lead to account suspension and potential legal reporting.

False Accusations and Malicious Reporting

False Reporting: Users should only report legitimate cases of misconduct. Deliberate false reporting, harassment through reporting, or attempts to manipulate the reporting process to harm other users will result in penalties.

Malicious Accusations: Users who attempt to make baseless or harmful accusations with the intent to defame or harass others may also face suspension or removal from Gleemeet.

Protection Against Financial Exploitation

Solicitation and Financial Requests: Users may not solicit financial assistance, loans, or donations from other users. Gleemeet is not a platform for financial transactions or lending arrangements.

Investment Scams and Multi-Level Marketing (MLM): Any activities related to investment schemes, pyramid schemes, or MLM recruitment are strictly prohibited.

Additional Disciplinary Actions

Educational Warnings: For minor infractions, Gleemeet may issue warnings or require users to complete an educational session on community guidelines before restoring full access.

Monitoring and Probationary Periods: For certain violations, Gleemeet may monitor user activity or place accounts on probation to ensure compliance with community standards.

No Tolerance for Retaliation

Prohibition of Retaliatory Actions: Users who report misconduct in good faith are protected from retaliation. Any user found retaliating against someone who reported them or others may face immediate disciplinary actions.

Support for Reporting Users: Gleemeet supports and encourages users to report all policy violations without fear of retaliation or negative consequences.
