CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT (CCPA)

This CCPA policy is for Users who are residents of California or whose personal data falls under the regulations of California Consumer Privacy Act. We are GleeMeet Private Limited ('Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our') based in India.

We operate the website https://gleemeet.com (the 'Site'), the mobile application GleeMeet (the 'App'), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to this CCPA policy (collectively, the 'Services'). For clarity, any reference herein to 'Users' refers to those who access, download, use, purchase, and/or subscribe to the GleeMeet Services (collectively or individually 'You', 'Your', or 'Users').

This policy shall govern the collection, retention, use, and disclosure of the Personal Information by GleeMeet for providing Services, which is enumerated in detail under the Terms of Service policy Terms of Service policy.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect
Users real name, alias, postal address, phone numbers, unique personal identifier numbers, cookies, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, and other similar identifiers.
Signature, physical characteristics or description, state identification card number, education, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, other financial information, and medical information, professional or employment-related information.
Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law, such as race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, age, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, medical condition, disability, citizenship status, and military and veteran status.
Biometric information, internet and other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with websites, applications or advertisements.
Geolocation data of the Users, audio, electronic or visual information such as photos uploaded by the Users.
Users profile creation details reflecting the preferences, characteristics, behaviours,attitudes.
Some of the information we collect also constitutes “sensitive personal information” under the CCPA, including information that reveals your social security, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, sex life or sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, biometric information, and contents of your messages. We do not use sensitive personal information we collect for purposes other than providing and improving our services to you and protecting our services and our community, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

From you (for instance if you create an account or apply for a position at our company).
From social media networks (for example if you log into our service through an account you have on a social media network).
From partners (for example, where our ads promoting our services are published on a partner's website or where a partner or consumer reporting agency shares with us information about bad actors).
From our affiliated companies (notably for anti-fraud and safety purposes).
From data brokers (e.g., for anti-fraud and safety purposes).

Consumer Privacy Rights of California Residents
Sales: GleeMeet does not 'sell' your personal information. We do not sell, share, rent, release, disclose, disseminate, make available, transfer, or otherwise communicate your personal information to another company for monetary or other valuable consideration or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Nondiscrimination: Under this policy, if any User chooses to exercise any of these rights, You have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment.
Access/Information: You have the right to know about the personal information that GleeMeet processes and the right to receive a copy of certain personal information collected about You.
Correction: You have the right to request the correction of any personal information that GleeMeet holds about You.
Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of any personal information that GleeMeet holds about You.
California’s “Shine the Light” law, Civil Code section 1798.83 (a privacy law passed by the California State Legislature in 2003)
requires GleeMeet or any business who process the personal Information in that region to respond to the request’s raised by the California consumers regarding the process of personal information disclosed by them, to third-parties for the third parties direct marketing purposes, once a year during the preceding calendar year. For all such requests, you must put the statement “Shine the Light Request” on your request, as well as your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. Please note that we will not accept these requests by telephone or fax, and are not responsible for notices that are not labelled or sent properly, or that do not have complete information.
From time to time, as part of a joint promotion with a third party, we may, if you participate in such promotion, disclose your contact information to the third party to allow them to market their products or services to you. Where this is a condition for participation in a promotion, we will always let you know before when you enter the promotion. Please follow the instructions provided to you by third parties to unsubscribe from their messages.
